I found out today my supervisor at work lied to me. He told me he would make sure I got time off to attend the funeral. Since Debbie & I are not married, they burned up my personal days and told me I was not entitled to any time off.

So now, if Debbie's father happens to pass away (like happens with couples who are together for many years) Debbie is on her own. I will not be allowed time off to attend her dad's funeral thanks to UPS.

I even mentioned this to my superevisor when I called him on sunday. He assured me he would work with me and not to worry. YEAH..... cause he was planning on screwing me!!!!

 

Oh wow, talk about adding insult to injury. I'm really sorry to hear about your troubles RJ. Best of luck in things turning toward the bright side.
