Seriously people?!?!?!?
So was on a dodge ram fanpage and this guy was complaining say his tires were wearing either badly or unevenly don't remeber so he went out and had a decal put on the back of his truck 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4 door, in big white letters on his tailgate says something like dont buy a dodge theyre junk, he did this because of tire wear, all i said to him was i found it sad that he was complaining about tires when i couldn't even begin to pay for a $40,000 dollar truck and if i had it i would be upset too but i wouldnt do somethign that extreme its sad to me when people treat their trucks like they're junk over one problem, sorry correct me if i'm wrong but i think its sad that the people who can afford the new nice vehicles dont even appreciate them.
Probably more upset because he is now stuck with it for a while before can unload it. Owes more than its worth. That wont help the cause either. I am sure if its a new truck it will be corrected. Dodge was very good to me with my Challenger.
Thats the thing he says its paid for and he refuses to trade it in even though it sounds like he could still come out with a good deal, i think he secretly loves his truck but is trying to get attettion because he feels it is a big problem he says the dealer keeps telling him nothing is wrong I suggest he takes it to a different dodge dealer?
As would I, I totally understand but no matter how bad the problem I would not go to Forums, fan pages sites etc etc and bash the brand or put that advertising on my truck due to a problem, it happens theres lemons nothings perfect. you just have to keep trying and working at it until you come to a solution you can deal with if you can't then get rid of it and go to a different company but to publicly bash them seems low, I for one can't stand Ford due to all the problems my grandparents have had with them and they have been life long ford buyes yet I dont go to the pages and bash ford because that seems childish to me. Just to list some of the problems below I will again not talking trash this is just a list of unfortinate things my granparents have had fromt heir fords.
2002 Ford Escape
-purchased brand new, washed and waxed at least 2 times a week, washed 3 times a week in winter under side also, currfently has 62,000 original miles on everything A-Frame is rusted to point of beign scared to drive it, after 22,000 miles the engine light came on was told from the gas cap, had gas cap replaced and came back on at 24,000 and has been on since, went through 3 sets of tie rods by 60,000 miles, at 56,000 miles it would start perfectly every so often and then sometimes i would kill or not start at all, problem was fixed $650 dollars later but i never found out what it was
1997 Ford F-250
-Purchased brand new, recalled for electrical problems numerous times, starter went out at 62,xxx miles and again at 112,xxx miles, went through 4 hub assemblys in the time of owning all 4 were the drivers side front, the wireing for the rear tail lights was a nightmare brake lightes were always going out andd the turn signals never worked since new.
2007 Ford F-150 Supercrew
-purchaed with 20,xxx miles, at 25,xxx miles 4wd went out, at 31,xxx radiator failed, at 37,xxx the first solenoid int he trans started going bad, at 56,xxx the hood latch stopped working
2006 Ford Ranger
-Purchased brand new, at 14,000 the transmission went out (covered by warrenty), at 18,xxx the front axle went to hell (not sure what happen i was livign 60 miles away at that point and they called to tell me they couldnt come visit me for awhile due to this), at 32,xxx the trans started slipping agian and was traded in for the truck listed above, anyway my point is its not only a dodge issue so to go around abshing is pointless.

It could be a variable of many diff things I'm just sad to see that someone went to spend money on a decal just to bash the product when they could have put that money towards fixing it instead of complaining. Sad but it happens.
He probably has a bad attitude with the dealer so he is getting marginal service. My PT Cruiser had Goodyear tires on it from the factory. They were worn out before the car had 30,000 miles on it. The dealer said they were sport tires and they didn't get lots of mileage so I had to buy new tires. I try only buy Michelin tires because I usually get good service from them.
