Talking Serious Question

Ok everyone I have a serious question.

Can I tow this boat

With this Tahoe?

I know the tahoe is mechanically capable, but what about the colors?

If your question is "should I get the boat?" Then the answer is hell yes! Who cares about the color matching anyway...Like Justin said, no one will see them together when your just driving the Tahoe around, or your out on the lake with the boat...only time they will be together is when your towing, and it does not matter if they don't match.

Michael the boat I own already. I sold my old blazer so I could get a better tow vehicle. This is a 96 Tahoe with 121,000 miles for 2900.

Oh well crap...Then buy the Tahoe...That sounds like a good deal for the Tahoe. It looks like its in good condition from the pic too. Offer them 2,400 just for the heck of it.

The Tahoe is a 5.7L right? I have an 89 Silverado 5.7L with 230,000 miles my dad bought it new in 89...paint is peeling, but otherwise, the body is in good shape, and it has some nice mods. But the engine (5.7L) and tanny (700R4) are original, and the truck runs GREAT still...So I would not worry about the 121,000 miles at all, just try and verify it was maintained.

heck todd, buy the damn tahoe! its a good lookin truck, it looks nice and straight, too. if ya wanna go crazy paint it silver with a blue stripe up the side, & you could get some of those centerline - style truck mags from JC whitteny..... it could look damn good for little effort, all you need is $.... but silver is easy to spray so it might be cheeper to have painted, and you could get truck mags used, they are EVERYWHERE for cheep.....

do you have any other pics of it?

No matter what, BUY THE DANG TAHOE!!!!

It is the 5.7l. It is at a local parts/rebuildable lot so I am trying to verify its history. They list no issues. They have had it for 8 months. If it is in good shape and mechanically sound like they say I am going to try and get it for 2,000.

You could modify the truck to make it float rather than getting a boat...using a boat ia Old school
