Have a fun trip.

Want to make it more fun? Stop by and see Space and the Bums. You should be able to find him in corn fields doing donuts making crop circles in a Monte Carlo 4-sure!

It was a great trip, and thank you for the well wishes. Unfortunatly, Florida is the most deceptive state on the map as far as size, and I was probably still 6-7 hour drive from 'Space. I did find a Jeff Gordon edition Monte Carlo in Port St. Joe, however.

The first day we repainted a home for an elderly woman who was living with one of her grandchildren, who was about 6-7 years old. It was a very faded teal, but it is now two tone brown.

The most touching group was a 90 year old man and his 89 year old wife. The man was retired US Marine, 23 years. However, his medical conditions prevented him from walking without a walker. (Don't ask why) but a contractor had build them a ramp that dropped about 3-4 inches or so per foot, while Florida contracter regulations state that such a ramp may not drop more than one inch per foot. It was so steep that the man was still more-less trapped in his house because it was nearly impossible to get up and down this ramp. That ramp went from being 12 feet long to about 30 feet long. It was very touching once we finished the ramp to watch him go down in his walker, and with a large smile on his face, state that he could make it all the way to the beach now.

The last day, as a thank you to the chuch (as this was the last week of holding this sort of mission trip in the area), we took a wall out of a storage shed for the church and dispossed of all of their old paint.

On Friday, we had an off day, and decided to go to Panama City for a visit. We had a great time on the beach as the oil had not hit yet, and did a little shopping at a surf shop.
