Default Saw an R34 Skyline

So since moving, the wife and I had to get our CCW's out here and had to take an 8 hour class at a firearms school to get it which we did last week. So anyways, we come outside for lunch (beautiful 75* sunny day- gotta love winter ) - and this thing is parked right outside the front door. It's an R34 Skyline GT-R V spec II (not sure on the year). Snapped some crappy cell phone pics, but these are all I got.

Didn't find the owner before I had to go back after lunch- but after posting it on the local forums out here- I guess the guy owns two- this one is supposedly set up for autoX and runs high 12's at the strip. I guess he has another one built for drag racing that does high 9's, and he has a 240 with an R33 front clip on it built for drifting.

I just couldn't believe I saw one in person- back in IN, there was a guy with a beat up R32, but this thing is in a totally different ballpark. Its actually only the 2nd R34 I've ever seen- the other one being at HIN in Chicago, and I couldn't get within 10 feet of the thing because of all the people.

Anyways, the pics:

You've gotta understand how expensively impossible it is to get one of those things over here.

Sweet. I never saw an older one in person before, but last summer at a couple of car shows I've seen the newest model that came out. Sweet car.

IDK... I know they are fast and all, but that car doesn't do it for me.

Especially that color...
