Got the fan controller changed out. I'm gonna take a shower and then go out and make sure the fan works. After that it'll be off to hang out with friends.

 

Made the long hour+ trip to the junkyard today. It wasn't too bad a drive in the CRV. They only had one 6 Gen Monte (an '00) out of a couple hundred cars...

Managed a nice clean trunk carpet to replace the one my nephew got roofing tar all over. ...$16

....and the bracket that goes around the hood latch. ...$6

I may go back for the leather seats. They didn't look bad, no rips or tears. They just need a good cleaning. $90 for the 2 buckets and the rear wont kill me. I remember seeing two spare center caps laying around $2 each. I may ****** those up for spares. I also want to see what price they'll give me on the black side views, I may want to switch out my silvers instead of painting them if the price is right.

Also the rear bumper cover is really clean, I may have to ****** that up at $56. Although I could probably make due with the one I have, but there's some bondo chipping away on one of the corners of mine.

Other than that, it was a balmy 90 degree October day. I'm sure the Grand Prix guys were sweating their ballz off. I sure was....

 

I've been meaning to go to one of those pick n pull yards. Meaning to pick up some Monte seats and some Altima seats for the Camaros. Watching Twister now though.
