Hey Space,

I will start at the top and work my way down

Fractured my skull in 3 spots
Brain swollen 50%
Right ear drum cracked and now have permanent hearing loss in the upper frequencies
Face caved in and cheek bones actually laying on my ears
Lost my sense of smell
Jaw broken in a few spots
Broke 5 teeth
Right shoulder dislocated
Pelvis broken in 11 spots

Doctors told my family I would more than likely be in a vegetative state for remainder of life, if I made it through the night, and that I would probably never walk again. Sooooooooooo I decided to prove them wrong lol, I have done more with my life since the accident that I never would have done prior to the accident, such as getting my education and exploring life and living it to the fullest.

Now to finish off housework and gonna take my wife out to Ottawa tonight for some steak at The Keg Steakhouse.

Wow, I didn't know we had bionic members! I wish all the members good luck with their pins!

My parts are all still original, except for my front teeth. They are crowned and with a mirror you can see that the back side of them are polished like chrome - bling! I used to have goofy "buck teeth" before I smashed them out, but now I got a nice smile and it's much easier getting laid. It's not such an interesting story really...

Brent that made me laugh out loud when I read it LOL

But I must say that whole 6 Million Dollar Man show was not as real life as I thought it was back in the day lol

WoW `Ken, it most likely cost a million $'s to rebuild you. It's great that our World has the doctors & specialist that can rebuilt most of the human body.

I do wish we had a good national health care plan for everyone. I believe `if people in our World could learn to live in peace that we could resolve most of the problems in our World.

Education & Love can resolve almost anything `if everyone would not purposely hurt themselves or others on their journey of life.

Just one Commandment, rule for `all. "Thou shall not purposely hurt yourself or others & do everything within your powers & resources to stop the hurt to others that they encounter in life".

The ones that could not follow the above would be sent to a rehab & learning centers to be reprogramed not to purposely hurt. If they can not live by those rules, then they would be placed on a controlled working farm and be self supporting.

That's `all for now, but something to think about or skip

Good Evening EV1!

Well Halloween is over...
The mrs and I just finished taking Everything down... hence my late check in...
Unfortunately between the cold winds and rain... It didn't happen the way we had planned.... But we hung out and passed out candy to maybe a cpl hundred brave soles... Lots of cool costumes and the little ones were so excited to go trick and treating.. the Parents...not so much...lol.
I will post some pics in the Halloween thread that Brent made...

Space:
I wish I was as lucky as you and just need some pins and screws... I will tell you right off, Being an amputee literally sucks! along with both my hips and pelvis being shattered. (Theres no surgery to fix them) as I am in soooo many pieces... Just happy to know they can retro fit you back together...

Ken:
It sounds like you suffered a major crash... Its so good to know your still here with us and doing so well!
I guess that makes 3 of us! Bionic of sorts....
Does that say were a steel of a deal?

So..
If you see this guy walking around at a nascar race...
Besure to say hello Stumpmi!

MIS August race 2013 When Dale Jr won!
(Partied all week with Regan Smith and his team) When he was still with Furniture Row... (Actual Team Uniform from his team members..)

Hi Mod `David,
I can only try to imagine the pain that you have to endure since your motorcycle accident and the loss of your leg.

When I was at the MRI Clinic I met two Vet's around my age & one had his leg blown `off & the other loss his foot & arm Again, it's so sad and the human loss and suffering from war.
They were both in good spirits & I enjoyed their company

I see online when I've checked the news over the years of the Middle-East Wars and have seen so many young military personnel die or have major injuries. (I just don't understand war, no matter how hard I try).

I remember a friend of my grandfather who was a prison guard in Viet Nam and he told me he got to know the POW' Viet Nam captured enemy. After time they knew each other's name and about their families...There all ended `up admitted that they did not want to kill, but they were following orders, like we were following orders.

I admit, that I think I could `Kill >`if< someone I loved was in great harm or that my country was in direct harm and under attack

But I want to believe that the majority of humans \do not want to purposely kill, just to kill.

I know I don't like losing the ones I love in life, and so many family & friends have during their journeys in life.

Again, I pray for "Peace on `Earth" >(Imagine >by John Lennon)
That's `all, my g/f just got back > Peace/Out

Thanks Tommy...
My story is actually very sad and gross and I really don't want/need to go into details...I will say this: More so than losing my leg and tons of broken bones/ lost body parts... Loseing my wife of 10yrs was the hardest (still is) after 14 yrs.. It still seems like yesterday.. Unfortunately...
We were hit on our Harley (T-Boned) by a 19 yr old girl who was an underaged drunk driver... Theres lots more to this event/story... But I think this is enough... at least for now..

Space:
War is hell..No doubt..Lost lots of friends that went to Vietnam... lost limbs and lost lives... Thanks for talking to them and showing them interest as well as support...

Every vet and active member of service.. I meet or see.
I always shake there hand and say Thank You for your Service...
