La. people told to flee floodSome 25,000 people could be in harm's way. I feel for those in danger & I hope none of our member's are affected by the floods or the damage caused by our "Mother Freak'in Nature"

 

That's just north of us here in New Orleans there doing that to save our city from flooding again and Baton Rouge.
Katrina real screwed us up here. Were well on our way to getting back to normal.
It only took 6 years and billions to do. I feel very sad about the people there and the ones that got slammed in Alabama from the Tornado's I know what your feeling

You can see Just how much work it was for us to recover and there still areas that are still screwed up. At the bottom of the larger image is the lower 9th ward much of it has never recovered look at the depth of the water all you see is roof tops!! Sad day!! it still shakes me to see your home town like that sorry

I lived through many Hurricanes, tornado's & bad Tropical Storms & have been fortunate to recovery from everyone so far...To me it's a reminder that no one is promised a 2morrow, and how fragile that human being can be when faced by the Bad TEMPER of our Freak'in Mother `Nature...
She sure can be powerful & destructive to many, but also bring us all sunshine & beautiful breathtaking weather...
