morning everyone! just figured i'd check in, looks like i'll be in jersey tomorrow for the rusty relics swap meet to sell some junk, cross your fingers it's not a rainout!

other than that, i drove the monte into work all last week, she ran great the first few days untill she started dumping antifreeze again, had a couple of the teachers freeked out after they parked on top of the puddles my car left, lol :D probibly lost half a gallon of the green stuff over the last two days i drove the car..... god i gotta fix those gaskets!

Mornin' all. It's supposed to be nice and sunny around here today so I'm hoping to find a little time to tinker with the Monte today, but first I need to reduce the length of the 'honey do' list. :D Hope everyone makes a good one of it today!

Good morning all! Work has been kicking my butt over the past few days. Oh well, job security (if not paycheck security) right? Another member contacted me and asked me to do a write up of bumper removal for 7th Gen. Monte Carlos and I agreed to do it. I was looking at The Beast this morning with a co-worker and I realized that I am unable to do the write up. When I put the intercooler in, there were a few changes that I had to make to the front bumper of the car. The changes are relatively minor, but they SIGNIFICANTLY affect the process of bumper removal. I am going to be at a post today that allows me to be on throughout the day. Have fun!

That's just north of us here in New Orleans there doing that to save our city from flooding again and Baton Rouge.
Katrina real screwed us up here. Were well on our way to getting back to normal.
It only took 6 years and billions to do. I feel very sad about the people there and the ones that got slammed in Alabama from the Tornado's I know what your feeling

You can see Just how much work it was for us to recover and there still areas that are still screwed up. At the bottom of the larger image is the lower 9th ward much of it has never recovered look at the depth of the water all you see is roof tops!! Sad day!! it still shakes me to see your home town like that sorry

It's a reminder to `all that have not be affected 2 `be thankful 4-Sure...that they do not have to endure the massive loss by so many on planet `Earth :(

I lived through many Hurricanes, tornado's & bad Tropical Storms & have been fortunate to recovery from everyone so far...To me it's a reminder that no one is promised a 2morrow, and how fragile that human being can be when faced by the Bad TEMPER of our Freak'in Mother `Nature...
She sure can be powerful & destructive to many, but also bring us all sunshine & beautiful breathtaking weather...

Afternoon everyone!

Spent a few hours today replacing a window air conditioner in the house. Had to make sure the new one is very secure. Since it's in a second floor window, and hangs over the hood of my Monte. :eek:

Did some work at the house today. Here is an updated pic of the bathroom. There are more in the house thread.

Taz you may only need it like 3 time this summer if it's anything like ours so far.... mon it was 90 and humid today it's in the low 50's....

just been loungin around the house... but now workin on the intrigue... had to replace the crank position sensor, it was actin a bit goofy and engine died like 3 times just randomly, finially threw a code so i knew why...

Justin, the last few days were like you said. In the 80's yesterday and the day before. In the 60's today.

wow what a difference! idle is smoother, revs faster and smoother, no codes, and the ever important it's plain old quicker!

Well i clay bared, waxed the monte, cleaned the interior. it looks awesome!!! will get some pics tom cuz my bf took the camera on a hike with him today :( def going for a cruise tonight

Tell him to get his own camera. :p:D Taking pics of a freshly detailed car is important. Before the birds do their business. Around here, a freshly detailed car doesn't stay clean more than 24 hours.

Can't wait to see the Monte! :)
