Hi all! I missed yesterdays blog all together I was to busy turning heads in the Monte :) I actually had a guy driving down the road trying to take pics of it. Was pretty funny I must say :rotfl: Hope everyone has a great day!

First opportunity I've had in quite a while to start the blog so I figured I'd kick it off. Just unwinding over one heck of a day for me. Having a few drinks and then I'll probably get to sleep around 2 or 3am so I can be up in time to watch basketball all day. Oh how I love March Madness. I'm well into the mood and the conference tournaments (Especially the Big Ten tourney) haven't kicked off yet.
Brooke came out of the blue and called. I tried to keep her updated with the storms this afternoon till my cell service crapped out. So we talked for a couple hours and got caught back up. I also got caught up with a good friend of mine earlier today as well. That was good. We'd randomly say something or another to each other via twitter but this was the first chance I had to talk to her in a while. I had a major crush on her at one point but at the time was in no condition to date and I also figured it wouldn't do any good to tell her. Somehow that came up in conversation and apparently she suspected it anyway LOL. Apparently it came to light that the Saints were paying "bounty" payments to their defensive players. Wow is all I have to say to that. I can't say I'm surprised about that from the NFL but still. |

Ok I only play the Xbox on the weekends. I didn't get to play last weekend because of drill but why on earth do I have to download updates almost every weekend when I log on? I mean seriously how many updates can there be?!?!?! This is ridiculous. My internet connection isn't the fastest and so almost every time I log on I have to wait a half hour or more before I can even play a game! This is ridiculous.

Ok finally done. Anyone know how to take pics of your cars on Forza 4 so that you can post them online? I have no clue to be honest and I have some nice cars on here.

Good mornin' all. The weather cleared up yesterday afternoon so I decided to wash the Monte and (you guessed it) it started raining not less than 5 minutes after I finished rolling up the hose. :( It seems like good old Murphy never takes a rest. Enjoy your Saturday!

14 Indiana 14 Kentucky 3 Ohio That's bad, seemed most devastation was along the Ohio river. People take these storms for granted as we have heard the sirens go off so many times, that we just think it oh well and go about our business. Storms are dangerous and I am glad I have a basement Hope everyone is Ok, and prayers to those who are not. |
Good Saturday Morning everyone :). Looks like a very nice saturday here in Surprise, Az today. Temp right now is 50 with a high of 74. This is going to be the coolest day we have for the next week. 84 on Sun and 87 for Monday. :). Going to be in the Sun the next few days for sure ! Going to a motorhome show this aft. Then down the street at a K mart theres the weekly Cruise in. Hot Rods. Custome trucks, Muscle cars from about 4 till about 10 pm. Last week it was a rollin car show. What I mean by that is. Its always changing. There must be about 6 rows of cars & trucks and such. By the time you finish walking up & down. Time to start over again. Cause some leave & more show up. Plus the Good guys car show is at Westworld this weekend also. Thats just to expenisive for me. $ 18.00 per person plus $ 10. to park! So we'll be at the free ones. Cause you know after that shows over some will pass by the other cruise in's. Have a great weekend. Still missin my cell phone. But it will be back Sunday :)

Rick, I am sure you remember when there wasn't such a thing as cell phones :rotfl: You just need to think back to then, Seriously, we all do get hooked on these gadgets and feel naked without them. I would go crazy without internet.
I have been up for 2 1/2 hours and all that has been on TV is the destruction from yesterdays storms. I feel for those people. Finally it has just now went back to regular programming. Anyone notice how the channels just milk it when weather happens. Can't get rid of them around here when a storm rolls through. They just repeat and reshow same things over and over. BUT, we can't take it for granted either. Mike better get that gun fixed. Thats like most people without internet:rotfl::rotfl: |

Yeah Jerry I tried the old trick of two soup can and a string. But it didn't work:rotfl:. I was without both for over 48 hrs. It was like having your hands tied behind your back. :(. Our internet was down a few months ago for a whole day. You don't realize how much you use it. I use it to check the news, weather, tv schedule and things like that daily. Also a lot of banking. It is hard when it's not working.

Morning, MCF'ers. Rick, the rolling car show sounds like what we have on the Sonic parking lot every Friday night during the season. Cars line up in four or five rows, stay about an hour, then move out for new ones. Around 10:00 p.m. everybody cruises through the neighborhood shopping area. There's always a big variety of cars there - old station wagons, '60's muscle cars, and lots of shiny Chargers and Corvettes.

Heck Mike even I have 2 paint guns. LOL and don't even know how to paint. I can shoot primer though. One is a primer gun also. They really are my brothers but I haev some of his stuff since he only uses it at my house.
Think I will go out and freeze so I can put my other two wheels back on. I will then have a complete set. |

Not much planned but staying in, staying warm and organizing the house (we just moved) and maybe taking a final exam (maybe :p). And a little bit (a lot) of stress, just got a $1600 quote for work on the Monte. All general stuff that needs to be done, but ouch! |

afternoon mcf, i probably wont be on a whole lot today me and the gf dont have to work so we re going out to eat and then later on go to the club and tip a few cold ones back. and if i keep getting on my phone to check mcf she will get mad haha. she always says "is that all u ever do anymore is mcf" lol anyways have a great day all ill check back when i can without her seeing :rotfl:

On my quest for mpg's, i checked my tire pressure and they were all high. But in theory that should make for higher mpg, but i lowered back to around 30 like they should be. Checked my air filter and its still pretty clean, not black like when i got the car:rotfl: Otherwise i'm running out of ideas:thumbsdown: on the bright side i have tommorow off so i can watch the race. The fog and clouds gave way to a really nice day, clear skies, 56 and windy. But i'm stuck inside doing school work... |

Zach that sounds pretty good, but i've never been much of a chili fan.
With this nice weather i decided to finally give my monte a wash, then i got even more motivated and dusted/clean/vacumed the interior. Amazing how much gravel and junk accumulates in the footwells. :rolleyes: Now i need to take car of the scratches where i hit the wall a while back, its down to bare metal it seems. Hi all - The AT&T guy just left and everything is up and running! We didn't get as much snow as they said we were supposed to - only 2 inches so it is already starting to melt - not enough to go skiing - oh well.
