Hey everybody!

Haven't been on in while, been busy with a lot of things. For once I don't have any plans for Saturday. May spend some time exercising inside today considering it's around freezing outside.

Just got replacement audio/cruise steering wheel buttons for my Monte in the mail from an online seller. Great condition for just over $40. Waiting until the end of spring to install them in preperation for summer shows and especially the Monte Nationals.

Just a few days ago I ran into the problem of one of my body extention clips awkwardly coming off. It is the one closest to the exhaust outlet on the driver's side. I can see it looking down; it's half on and half off. I carefully attempted to push/pry it from the underside back into the right spot, but no luck. Very frustrating and now the extention has a gap between it and the body about an inch out and 4 inches across, but since I do not have the proper tools at the moment and it's below freezing, I know better than to fight it and probably break it causing a bigger problem. I plan on having minor body work performed on the lips of the wheel wells (where there's a little paint bubbling) before summer anyway, so I can wait just a little to have the fix done more properly then.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Andy

Yes that's what mine has. LTZ is only available with the automatic.

So, instead I gone to moms house. Jacked up the monte & scrubbed the underbody, also took the front tires off & cleaned the inside of the rim. Since I had time I also did a good detail on my moms ford escape. The results from both are satisfying enough. The car looks great now that the rims are clean(rears are ok.) and I don't have to go crazy whenever I see moms truck.

The thing hasn't been washed in over a year!! Omg it drives me nuts.
I posted a topic in the detailing section of the results

Went skiing today and washed the stang - also loaded my "street tune" to the PCM. I will run that tune during the winter because I was able to change the tire size (I am running a smaller rim/tire for my snow rims - tires & rims were cheaper). Wow what a difference! I can't wait till I get the stock rims back on so I can try out the "performance tune". There is also a race tune for the track. I was also able to choose my octane for each tune. 87, 89 & 93 respectively.
