I suppose

Went and picked up the horizon, took it for a wash (still dirty after a wash) needs a good exterior detailing. Might do that in the coming weeks, get it detailed. Gased it up, a/c is still ice cold. Everythign is good except the new gas leak I got home and smelled gas, get out and see wet parts under the car, going to keep a close eye on that. If it doesn't clear up its going right back to the freakin garage monday. Its a brand new tank and sending unit. hoses, fuel filter etc.

 

It may be a loose connection somewhere Keane but I'd take it back anyway. If they just worked on it they should fix it.

 

Exactly, it almost looked like it was leaking at the seam of the tank. I'll watch it over the weekend.

 

Hi Keane, that's just wrong 4-Sure I hope they reimburse you for your time & inconvenience.. I know even the best can make mistakes, but when it comes to leaking fuel & what you had to pay , you should not have any problems.

Please keep us updated on how they treat you...
I would not drive it `if it's leaking...It can be dangerous & even a stone can fly up & strike metal while you are driving & cause a fire ...Or, a tossed lite cigarette...I see that happening a lot when I'm behind someone...

Evening everyone. Evening Space. I'm off work until wednesday. Then it's back to working for a living. Been enjoying the nice weather we've had lately. Hoping all the fathers out there have a great father's day tomorrow.

 

On the bright side since i paid all cash he took off all the sales tax so that saved me a nice little chunk of money, he also said that alot of people were looking at it and commenting about it.
