Just hanging out with my wife and kids in my wife's hospital room today. We'll be staying overnight.
Drove my dad's '02 3.4 LS out here yesterday. These Montes sure are nice highway cruisers. I haven't driven mine to the hospital in Pittsburgh yet mainly because the A/C is inop. It goes in to be fixed Monday. I hope its not going to be expensive, like compressor failure or something of that nature.
I haven't been on much since I went to 3rd shift and then my wife falling ill, but I did get a few Monte things accomplished. We put a pace car style spoiler on my dad's '02 LS and also installed the rain deflector shield under the wiper cowl (also installed a brand new cabin air filter). It works like a charm, no more wet passenger side floor. I also bought a second one for my car to install at a later date. No hurry as of yet, its not leaking. I made sure to purchase brand new plastic rivet things for the cowl, as I ended up breaking the ones on dad's. I'll try go get some pics up of his dark blue LS with the pace car spoiler. Unfortunately, the paint didn't end up matching 100%, but it still looks good. Maybe we'll address the paint issue in the future.

Evening everybody!

Kerry, sorry to hear about your wife. Hope she feels better soon.

It turned hot and steamy here today. But, working night shift, I slept through it with the AC on. Yay for AC!

Thanks Chris. I appreciate it.
She has leukemia. They feel confident she will beat it, but she'll be in the hospital at least 3 more weeks. That's a long time to be away from your 6 and 9 year old daughters, but now that school's over we can visit mom a few times per week (we live about 120 miles away from the hospital). I'm also going to be off work for a while. Working 3rd shift and shipping my kids off to stay with other people every night didn't feel right to me.

Kerry, I am sorry to hear about your wife man. I am glad they think she can beat it. It is tough when a spouse is not well. I will remember her and your family in my prayers too

Good evening all. Well, it turned out not to be national news. (a good thing) There was a group of protesters outside of our main gate for a while. There was apparently trouble the last time this particular group protested.

What were they protesting this time? The typical anti-war protesters?

It's bad enough the military has to deal with the enemy. But I find it a dis-respectful slap in the face when the very people you're putting your life on the line for, act that way. We have that here in Canada too Greg.

All the military men and women do a great job at what they do, so that we can all enjoy living in a free country. Thanks guys!

Good evening everyone! Finally got the oil changed in Precious and also went to a cruise night yesterday. I just got done cleaning him up for a big car show at the Lake County Fair grounds tomorrow!

LOL. I don't feel that way at all. They were exercising their constitutional right to assemble. I don't agree AT ALL with their cause, but absolutely agree that they should be allowed to express their views.
