We didn't tell my wife's parents till she was over 6 months. She wasn't afraid to tell them, just didn't want to deal with her mother meddling and whatever. Drives her crazy.

True but she's almost 19 & I'm 23 so were still young so they may get mad

Get both parents in the room. Stand by the door and just put your hand on Emily stomach. Then RUN !
