Evening everyone! Not much going on here. We're getting our first real snowfall today. It's been snowing all day here. Perfect timing for the North American International Auto Show. Oh well. Had to get snow sooner or later.

I'd be real happy if that was here (I live in a secondary snow belt) - granted I can't complain, we've only got it good about 5 or 6 times this year. Normally we're buried from mid December to mid April - sometimes even early May. The lake hasn't frozen through yet.

No I didn't wash the car. But now that it snowed, I guess I can now huh?

So far we're still lucky. Only about 1-2 inches. Can't complain yet.

It was pretty tame today, just a little hit mid-morning. Maybe 1/2 an inch. Yesterday we did about 4-5 inches - plus it was pure ice underneath.

Granted, people still drive like dumb &*#'s - this was a few days after Xmas when we got a good bit of snow, this guy goes right off the road. It was a real panic since there's a hill right before that so people coming down the hill had a fun time once they got over the hill and saw him at the bottom.

But it's been decent this year thanks to the warm temps - after a few days it hits 40-50 and melts everything - plus the lake hasn't frozen through good yet - so that keeps the lake effect minimal.
