Mornin' all. It's been raining like a cow pissin' on a flat rock since yesterday afternoon and no sign of it letting up. It doesn't look like I'll be doing much with the Monte this weekend.

Morning, MCF'ers. Seattle Mike, I like your description of the rain up there. We've had spring rains like that where I'm afraid to go to the basement to see if its leaking.

Not much going on here today. Maybe there'll be some Dale tributes on Speed Channel. This afternoon I can get the Monte out on the highway again on my way to the Wildlife center. Spring babies should start coming in about two weeks!

Oh man here we go again, another car that I'd haul home in a heartbeat if I could.

1989 Camaro IROC-Z 5 spd

I used to have an IROC, except it was an 87. I miss it, but I had to sell it to make ends meet. One of these days I plan on getting another one. That thing handled like it was on rails, and that TPI 305 is a torquey little monster. Helped that 3.08 gears kept it in it's max torque range longer.

No rain here. Monte is shining and I am out of bed finally. I never get to sleep in much. Usually have to take the boy to school.
Mike I had the option to go to that race in Daytona when Earnhardt was killed. We had planned on t but went on a cruise to the Bahama's and thought we would decide on the way back past the track. well, we were wore out and decided that the lounge chair suited us better at wife's uncle's house. We have been to many a 500. Was a sad day.
My uncle/wife is coming over this evening to watch the Shootout. Have a few cold beverages and enjoy the race.

Morning all just watching the power block on Spike. Gotta go sand some drywall at my buddies house. I wasn't planning on working today but he wants it done and since he's paying me to do it I guess I better go.

I'm stocked up on Coors light (couldn't afford a case of Guinness LOL) so I'm ready for tonight. I'll be flipping back and forth between that and basketball. I'm getting kinda bored right now so I may go take another glance at that 95 Z28 later. That thing reminds me a lot of my first car (which was also a 95). Main difference is that it's a V8 and it's white instead of green (mine had the piddly 3.4L V6).
