SNOW? In April? WTF? It's been a couple days, but I needed time to upload the pics... check the date stamps!

This is seriously ridiculous already!

Hi Tommy,
Thanks for posting/sharing your pictures of the area
that you reside. Since I don't travel much from my area, the
web is my window to the World.
I'm learning that no matter where you live, there is
a price to pay for the beauty that surrounds you.
I wish you warmer days, & I'm sure they will arrive,
in time. Mother Nature has her own mind,
and the people of Virgina are paying a high price
for the destruction that was caused last eve in their state.
I hope none of our member's were affected by the
massive damage. EnJoy the beauty of the snow
that covers the flaws of mankind.
There is beauty in `all, `if we just stop to look : )
Peace/Out from `Space

I don't know where you parked your car ... but, I hope they have Security! If you left that beauty curbside around here it would be like that old Batman Mystery when they went to fight crime in an inner city neighborhood:
"Batman?"
"Yes. Boy Wonder".
"Isn't this where we parked the BatMobile?"
"Batman?"
"Yes. Boy Wonder".
"Isn't this where we parked the BatMobile?"

i'm sorry, but for some reason that makes me chuckle! no, there is security here and, really, that is the curb of a parking lot. it is one of my college's few lots and we have officers on duty 24/7 doing rounds and monitoring cameras (mostly to find students carrying beer from their cars to the dorms). also, the city is 155,000 but has been deemed both "one of the nicest places to live" and one of "the biggest little towns in America". the majority of crimes here are white-collar crimes (embezzlement, etc.) or drinking/traffic offenses.
if i had a say in the matter, she would be garaged under lock and key and i would walk to class. sadly, it is "economically infeasible" for me, at this time, to get a house of my own (especially since i will only be in South Dakota for another year; then, off to grad school!)

RE: Is this S*** over yet?
I thought I might be the only one on these forums still putting up with this weather.
I was home for my mom's birthday and took her to Rapid City and bought her supper, well I managed to hit a nasty snow storm and they're calling for snow this Thursday, May 1st! Then again I've been told that it still snows into June here in Laramie.
This sucks, this is the last week of classes but it doesn't feel like it to me, I'm used to having weather over 40 degrees for the last month of school, not have it snowing the last week of class.
