Hey Lou,

Thank you sir and to everyone else! She is getting older but still in good conditions; I will post pics this weekend when I get her a nice wash/wax. I still get stopped from time to time (asking stuff about the Monte) but it seems those days are getting further and further in between; no love for the Monte's anymore?

I can remember when I was a bit younger (before I got my first Monte) and saw yours in the Super Chevy magazine. I've had a thing for Montes for a while and thought it was so cool that they featured a new Monte Carlo in that magazine. I still love seeing your car.

The car looks great and I look forward to seeing some new pictures and the new ideas you have for it.

Thanks Matt! I still love showing people that...ahah Even CHP officers love seeing it (yes, I tend to get stopped for no front plate)...haha

The exterior/suspension/interior/sounds etc are pretty much done, the only thing the car ever needed was being boosted! I'm debating on a ZZP kit (stage 2) w/ ss innercooler or just leaving it as is. I don't really race or go to the drags or push the car too much anymore so still debating.

I'm getting a truck soon so toying with the of just making her a full on show car, but I don't like that because I actually like to use my toys...

Maybe I should hit up ZZP for a partial sponsorship; do you think they would help a 10 year old car out???

Maybe if you remind them of the Super Chevy thing, and tell them it's gonna be a show car.

Just got an email back from ZZP regarding partial sponsorship....

"Thank you for your application. After reviewing your vehicles mod list, it appears to have too many of our competitors parts to qualify for sponsorship. Based on the list provided, it would be quite expensive for you to replace all of our competitors parts with ZZP parts. Of course, if you are willing to replace them, we might be able to work out a sponsorship. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you,"

I think too many SLP parts; will waiting to hear back...
