Default Roxanne my rental Camaro to Bluffton

Recently I had the privilege of renting a 2010 Camaro for a business trip to Bluffton IN. Complements of my work.

Let me introduce you all to Roxanne. Roxanne is a working gal who's purpose is to make money for her employer Enterprise by taking her clients for an exotic ride. Roxanne had 30 thousand miles on her so she has been around the block a few times

When you first slide into Roxanne's seats she greats you with a warm hug in her leather heated seats that wrap around your sides to hold you in place. Her steering wheel telescopes out to meet you and you can adjust the angle to your preference.

She offers a "Heads up Display" that come in three configurations.

You may choose to see your speed only
speed and tach
speed, outside temp and compass

the heads up hovers over the hood like a hologram

Roxanne does not like to look over her shoulder for too long. Her rear window is useless

Her rear view mirrors are blocked by her big hips

She will let you take over the dance with her paddle shifters.

She is not shiftless though. Try to downshift in too high of RPM she will abruptly
inform you "SHIFT DENIED" try to over reve her, and she will take matters in her own hands and shift herself

She is still a pretty lady of the evening inside pics of her a night:

Her door panel

She let you know just how she feels:

Cruise control is a must! We found ourselves doing 90 and not even knowing it. She is one fast lady of Enterprise and she is only a 6 banger

She offers a firm ride but real comfortable (mostly due to the incredible seats)

I will miss Roxanne for sure.

Thanks `Tadd for your post/pic's & review...
Makes me want to go test drive one, or rent one for a day...
It's difficult to rent `if you are under 25 years old : (
I have not tried renting a car in some time, but I've always been rejected....LOL

How was your MPG's ? How fast did you take it 2 ?
Would you consider buying one `if you did not have your awesome Monte ?

Thanks again for your thread + all your contributions to the MCF

Incredibly she got about 25.6 up to 26 miles per gallon

I am not advocating speeding (wisper) but we did have her up to 100

My associate got squeamish about this point

Thank you Tadd for posting this revue of Roxanne. I like her heels and long legs err wheels and tires. I guess I got caught up in the moment. Hehe. The interior looks awesome. It is too bad that it has so many blind spots.

Great write-up!

What stylish cars don't have their blind spots lol. Luckily if you have a Camaro you should easily be out of everyone's way

Oh yes Space I would like to find my own Roxanne - But I would opt for the SS model just for bragging rights - the 6 cylinder did have all the get up and go that I would ever use.

You wouldn't believe the cars that would stalk us right a long side just to get a better look.

Roxanne got upset and ditched them in the dust. (LOL)

Nice! I've driven them several times but I must say..... Wayyyyyy too must plastic, they overkilled the interior with too much plastic instead of soft materials.
Damn 30k miles on a Camaro rental car from Enterprise?!? That's wayyyy too many miles. They normally get rid of those things at 15k miles.
