Cool Roommates new Supercharged SS

he bought a 2006 Cobalt SS coupe 5speed with 80k on it for 8,200

HOLY **** ITS FAST IN 2ND its got recaros in tip top shape sunroof 18's and already has a fender well intake.



BOTTOM LINE I NEED TO 1UP HIM AND SAVE UP MONEY TO BUILD A 3800 SUPERCHARGED TO DROP IN LOLA or let him win til i replace lola

Looks like he got his hands on a nice car. I've heard quite a few good things about the cobalt ss but never driven one to know for sure.

You definitely need to get the supercharged 3800

Supercharged cobalts aren't all that fast and never as quick as a 3800 sc can be but cool car I like them. I believe it's a low 15 car just like the stock ss/sc. I remember when I first got mine used to think it was the fastest thing ever lol.

He's my bro for life I'm just glad i made him drive one before he bought a plain *** civic coupe that had been in an accident that was 9k

I do believe he owes you a thank you for steering him in the right direction. I don't have a problem with civics, but one that has been in an accident for 9k, I would definitely shy away from
If nothing else, he should at least buy you a couple beers

It was a manual and i know hondas shift well. he drove a couple other cars including mitsu's but i told him the 0-60 and he was like well ok. It has recaros. OH **** I'M ON IT. he drove it and he said it shifted better than a civic. well duh its a legit sports car

I believe they even have a fairly good aftermarket for the cobalt's which is always nice. Then he can make it his own, so to speak. One huge thing I hate about my car is that it is an automatic, I would love it, if it had a 6 speed manual
