The River starts tonight. 2 hour season premiere on ABC at 9est. The commercials for it have looked pretty good.

 

I want to watch it... but I get the feeling that I am going to like it, and then it is going to be something REALLY STUPID.

 

It's from the Producers/Creators of Heroes and Paranormal Activity so I am expecting it to turn out better than LOST. Alcatraz has been pretty good so far though.

 

I might give it a shot. just got done catching up on alcatraz and haven't decided on if I like it or not.

The premiere was 2 episodes so there has been 5 episodes of Alcatraz so far.

The River was pretty good I thought. You can definitely see the similarities to Paranormal Activity in the way that it is filmed. This must be a mini-series? I only see that they have 8 episodes planned. I don't know how they would stretch it out more than one season though. It seems like they revealed quite a bit more than I had expected in the premiere.

 

Yeah I wasn't expecting to see so much in a premiere.. Figured they'd only have a few more episodes at that rate.
