i feel you on this rita thing here in dallas there are no hotels open you have to look for a gas station that is hidden somewhere for gas and the highways into dallas from the south are so backed up its not even funny 20 hours from houston to dallas today my step dad went out and bought a remington police shotgun just incase we have another new orleans he said we are gonna stay here if we have to ride around on our fourwheelers and sot on our front porch with the 12 guage

From a floridian.....

GET THE HELL OUT OF ITS WAY!!!..

Want to know what to expect?.... look at Biloxi. The area everyone has seemed to forget about.

They showed a guy on the beach near Galveston in a 3rd story condo. He had a little metal windscreen for the balcony of his condo.
He thinks it will protect him.

He will learn differently.

Somebody should try to knock some sense into him.[sm=chairshot.gif]

Soon, he will be doing this..[sm=helpout.gif]

Update............

Thanks for your support folks.............

I am still in Houston......... I decided not to get into the traffic hell headed to Dallas or San Antonio, I am actually kinda glad I waited it out as it looks like it is headed more east.... Were still going to get some rain and wind but we will be fine where were at now....

The Monte is full of gas and is somewhat protected... I would have braved the traffic if I were closer to the coast...
