Is it ricing out a car, or it awesome? a 5 panel mirror... looks a bit like this.






It really helps you get a more full field of vision and helps to see your blind spots better.

 

Not sure of the mirror Duane. But I used to drag race a 68 like the one in the back ground for yrs.

It's one of those things you need to see in person..

 

My dad so far odesn't like being the passenger because he feels claustrophobic... the mirror really limits the vision out the windsheild, especially when it isn't useful, like for the passenger.

 

i see this mirror alot on mainly import (none rice) cars, i think they're called Broadway mirror or something like that. it falls under the cool category tho some people with the sickest BMW's n' Audi's use those

 

I think the Broadway is a single panel with a conture to it. It's designed to give a real wide angle. I have one that clips on a regular mirror. Bought it at Wal Mart, made it about 10 miles down the road before I just took it off. It makes everything look like it is a really long way away. It gives you a wider field of view, but closing rates are harder to judge for me. Plus, it makes everything look small, and half your mirror is fileld with your back seat.

I think at 1 point in time....it was feaseable....

But now a days with all the "bubble,egg" shaped vehicles on the road today....your field of vision is greatly reduced....

In the older models with larger windows and more visibility...they were useful...
