Well I got my monte backtoday. It seems to drive and shift fine. I havent put it through its pace yet tho. One problem I do see is that the steering wheel is off center. I didnt feel it pulling at all so that should rule out that it needs aligned. My dad thinks that they may have reinstalled the steering shaft off center by a spline or two. Im going to ask them to fix it when I go in on monday to pay. I took the road back home thatI tended to hear the whining noise on, and I heard no noise so thats a plus. All in all I am happy with the work. Especially when the bill was about 200 dollars less than what they quoted me. 1688.58 total.

I noticed this morning that my driving lights in the bumper werent working. I investigated and it looked like they had to disconnect them so I followed all the wires. They call checked out so I checked the fuse in the power line. It was blown. Of course I didnt have any glass fuses so I had to run out and get some. When I replaced the fuse, it blew again. So I crawled underneath to look at the wires again and I noticed that they crushed the ground wire to the lights in between the subframe and the front mount on the drivers side. I cut the wire and spliced it back together and the lights worked just fine.

Well I went and paid and got my repair order and warrantee. They are going to align my sub frame on the 15 day inspection. That is why the wheel is off center. They said it will fix the problem so its all good.
