Some day's there is a little tear.
My favorite was the Bristol Race when he an Terry got into it and Dale won in 99. This guy gave me so much static, he also happened to be one of my dealers.
I told him that it wasn't intentional.

So he said let me prove it so we planned an evening at this sports bar, the audience were the Judges and when it was over they agreed with me, I won a case of beer, and he bought a round for the bar folks.

Kind of neat to witness the #3 car that he won with.
A few nights before the Race in 1998 the Track had finished the installation of new track lighting and Dale was the first one to drive under the lights.
They had his in car radio hooked up the Track system so every word he said was broadcast to the fans and everyone at the Track that night.
Ok, Here is a little challenge for everyone who wants to take a guess at it.
Look at these Photo's of the 3 Car, both sides there is something different about the Car.
Can you guess what it is?

I have a few more photo's of the 3 Car at Daytona USA. and Attached them. These have a couple of Plaques, that tell the story of the lucky penny and the photo of the interior looking thru the drivers net is looking at the Penny on the dash. It is difficult to see.
Hope you all enjoy them it was fun to be there.
There was some lady in the gift shop who just about fainted when she saw me.
Convincing her I was not Dale was a struggle.

I was there in 2001,we camped in the infield that weekend right off of turn four! we saw and "Heard" the fatal crash but didn't know he was dead! but the ambulance was on the track too long to be a good thing. we left to drive back to Jacksonville and about an hour into the drive home is when we heard the news that he was dead!! it was a sombering feeling that sorta just took the fun out of the whole weekend!! : ( R.I.P. Dale you are still the man!!
