Ok, here is another Nascar one.
This one incident cost Dale is 8th Championship.
Dale Earnhardt Sr. was driving a 6th generation Monte Carlo #3 he was spun out on the last lap.
Who spun him and at what Track, for extra credit after he caught up to him what did he tell the announcers he did.
Photo attached; but it's not very clear (sorry)

I do not know if this is the same event you are talking about, but it seems to me I remember a race where Dale showed a fellow driver his discontent with a particular finger. He later told the press he was just "telling the guy that he was #1".
Not sure if it was Ernie Irvan or who?

I was hoping somebody would have answered this by now. We need to get more participation on this thread. Trivia questions are rather interesting ot me.

The race was in 2000 and at Pocono raceway in Pennsylvania, Mayfield driving the 12 Car spun Dale Earnhardt on the last lap and went on to win. Doing so he cost Dale his 8th Championship because it was so close that year, and Dale finished 2nd in the Points. Mayfield aka (Swayfield) has been banned from Nascar for drug use.
Your right we need more players.
