powdercoat has clear over it so it gives off a shine. its durable and isnt going to scratch off on some little twig you hit going down the road like the paint allready on them.

Ehhhh, I still dont know about that either?? You should really just do a red trim around the outer lip and then get some tires with lettering and color the lettering red, then do the calipers red. Just giving my opinion though, it your car, do what you wanna see everyday.

Im not trying to be rude here by any means, I am gonna give you my honest opinion on this and dont take it the wrong way. I think doing so much red will give it a cheap kinda generic look. But I could be wrong on that, It might look good after all. Just do what you like.

As far as I know, nobody has powdercoated the Dale Jr/Tony Stewart rims in that color configuration before.

I think if the rest of the car is going to be black, and you keep the brake calipers black or their natural color, you may be able to pull that off. But keep the tire lettering black also.

It's not too often you see so much red in the wheel well. Most people prefer black, aluminum, or chrome. So you're idea would definitely be different.

I'm honored that you are interested in our opinions. And thank you for asking us. Essentially, it's your car. And you have the opportunity to have a genuinely unique wheel, and prove that wheel can work if done right.

Powdercoating is not cheap, but if you believe it'll work and you really like it, I say go for it!

I voted for #4, its different for sure and I think it will look great. Just dont go all black. #3 would make the rims look like 15s.

I did a quick photoshop job on Fever42's car (rear wheel only). Since his car is black with the Junior rims. He obviously doesn't have the large red stripe that you have. So imagine that on the car too.

Are the two rims you have now 16's? Because they appear to be Dale jr rims. And the junior rims are 17's.

what if you strip them completely and do them backwards. like all the black parts the natural finish and all the bare parts black? i suck with photoshop so im not going to even attempt it.
