im gonna pickup a can of plasti dip smoke and do it that way its not permanant

Careful, you don't know what it might do to the lens.

When I did mine, my tail lights eventually cracked. Just a warning...

i think it looks good im doing that on mine this summer but im a fan of the niteshade myself and you can always sand it down if needed

these headlights were 50 bucks with all new bulbs if the crack i have my beat up originals

Why not experiment on the originals first in case something does go wrong or you dont like it.

Can't cover the reflectors. Open the lens and black house them if anything.

thats why i bought plastidip smoke you can peel it off if you dont like it had to buy it on ebay though like no one stocks it yet

I personally would just do black housings or a light coat or 2 of VHT. If you used plasti dip and only do a light coat so you can still get light you will have trouble getting it off and if you go too thick youll be able to get it off but won't see light.
