Default Police scanner's

When I used to work at General Motors. I rode with a wild bunch of guys on Harley's. I always had the scanner going while working in my garage. A couple of times I heard a call when I knew the guy or girl doing something wrong. Once I heard a call about a 14 yr old with driving a Custom 50 Ford white in color with Blue flames. My ears and my buddies also. WHY ? Cause we work with the guy that owned that car. So I called him at work and asked him if he knew. I never asnwered just dropped the phone and left work. . Another time a couple of guys were fighting outside a bar. When they ran the wants and warrants. I know two of them also. So it was fun listening to that. Now I have it on my wifes kindle. And I can tune it to back to my old home town. Now I know none of these guys.. How many listen ? Stumpie you should check it out. some funny s*** goes on man.

Chris: I just googled police scanners and you can get them on line from $80.00 up to $120.00. . Unless you want it NOW.

Naa i missed it rick...the mrs just arrived home from work...lol
she always wants my undivided attention....to give me all the bs at work (like i really care) lmao

I got my scanner from Radio Shack....I paid $600.00 for it 5 yrs ago...But they updated it for all the current channels and also gave me a list of many many more from police to fire rescue.....etc etc.....

It also has the ability to "trunk" which means you can lock on to a preferred call or city..so you dont miss any of the "details".....thats 1 feature i really like....it uses recharge able batterys.....and has a built in charger.....I often hear a good call...and take it in my truck with me...just to go check things out in person...(do i sound really bored now that im retired?)
