It seems like Summer just got here and now we're entering the last weekend before Fall rolls in. Anyone have a last hurrah planned to send Summer out on a high note? I'm thinking about going for a cruise around the beach, then heading over to the park and grilling up some salmon steak burgers as a picnic lunch. Sunday I'll probably just be lazy...

uhhh..... work and after that uhhhhh nothing i think my last hurrah was last weekend in the city

 

Well you see MIKE: I don't think like most. When it comes to that. The last day of summer for me & the way I think is. When the 1st whote crap is on the ground. Fall to me is just a cooler summer. When all the leaves are turning colors and its nice & cool outside but Sunny. So i don't have any plans just for that. BUT this weekend I'm washing 3 cars and waxing 2. Both mine will get a waxing. The Cobalt is the work horse and is driven all over the place. Rain or shine. But saturday I'll spend most of my day watching my grand daughter play soft ball about an hour away. Then Sunday in front of the TV watching football. And dreaming of our trip to Phoenix coming up soon So thats my plans.

 

The Last Hurrah for me was in 1968. JUST KIDDING!!! This weekend I'm going to do what gives me the most pleasure in life - wax the Monte, clean her windows & mirrors, vacuum the floor and get her ready for winter. Then I'll take my grandkids to the park for a final wade thru the neighborhood creek, looking for pretty rocks for the garden.
