Talking Pic's on the track at MIS

Here's some pics from Walz Action Photos, and the link to her pics from the professional photographers page.
Me heading out of the pits:

LadyT:

The '01 Pace Car:

The vintage Mustang race car we went 3 wide with:

The '68 Hemi Roadrunner I lined up along side of:

On the track:

And both of us together:

Here is the link to Walz Action Photos Event page, all 1171 pic's! We are in group 7. You'll get a good idea of the variety of the cars there.

Awesome pics Wayne! I would love to get my Monte on a track. I was at Road America on Sunday and people were aloud on the track, I think you had to pay something extra and I want to look into doing that next year.

The professional pics are great. Did you purchase any of the ones of you and Lady T?

Like how Lady T did the "look ma, no hands" thing on the way out of the pits.

The show cost $20 to register, and another $5 to get on the track. Pictures are expensive!

The hands up "roller coaster" pose by LadyT is not the 1st for us. It has become a way of us saying that Lucy is a "thrill ride", like a coaster. Here is my favorite pic from the "Tail of the Dragon" showing that. We're going back there the 1st weekend in August. A professional photographer named Killboy took this one, at least I think it was him. There are 3 or 4 that take pic's there.

Those pictures rock too! How much do they cost you? Was there a lot of photographers - how did they shoot everybody? That MIS show really looks like it was everything it promised to be. Do they do it every year and have you gone before? It seemed like little information was available before hand. You've documented the show really well this year RocknSS04

They were handing out fliers to this event even back in may. I got one when we were up in western MI with Wayne and Lady-T.

We so wanted to go but......................

Hopefully they do another one. And I can go.

Thanks for sharing Wayne.

People are all ready registered for next year. I've been to a LOT of car shows, and honestly, this was one of THE best shows I've ever been to. I think a lot of it was the venue. Getting on the track was a real thrill!
I believe there was only 1 photographer there, maybe 2. The track pics I'm guessing were automated somehow. Not really sure. Pics are expensive. 2 for 1 on some right now. But we'll see. Could cost upwards of $100 for what we want! OUCH!
I hope some of you can be there next year. I was told from a Solstice board that there was 2 Solstices there last year also, Don with his V8 Mallett, and this other guy who wasn't there this year. Maybe we can have several Solstices there next year, along with more Montes!
