Pics of Bonne with newest mods
Only thing that has changed since last time I posted pics is the exhaust. Replaced the entire exhaust with a fully custom system that was partially welded together but left modular-clamp on where all the components are.
Speed Daddy headers
3" AP Exhaust Cat
3" SLP Loudmouth resonator
2.5" Cherry Bomb Pro mufflers
Pypes EVT19 tips
Summit Racing 2.5" & 3" Aluminized pipe and mandrel bends
Taking a video of the sound with it in park just doesn't do it justice. Sounds better when actually under load. But here's the vid anyways
2003 Pontiac Bonneville full custom exhaust - YouTube
Pile o' parts
Old exhaust out
In the process of installing the headers we noticed I still had factory plugs. Who would've thunk that the previous owner hadn't EVER had a tune up (got the car with 97k). Learnt my lesson
There were some adjustments made to the headers. I didn't want the U-bend since it sticks down below the frame level on the Bonne, so it was fixed. Glad I have a brother who knows how to weld and do a good job at it
I had the local muffler shop fix the tip alignment. My dad, brother, and I were just done messing with it after 2 days work to get this done. $60 to have the shop fix it wasn't bad. Pics of how it is now in with the pictures I took with a friend's Vrod below.
