Pick on this car for me
Thinking of buying this car. Already have a deal scratched with them. I know people will say don't go backwards but I like these better. They want my car and will let me keep my wheels which I would sell and se the money for rims and a cowl hood for this. Not getting exactly what I want for mine but within a 1000. They also can't guarantee mileage to be 62K, Things I see are stripes are messed up, look stretched, would have to remove and replace. Minor wear on drivers seat. Appears that 62K could be correct. May have to take a day off and go check it out. I asked for pics of underside doors and rear inner fender wells from inside trunk. If this link doesnt work, search for Monte carlo. There are only 2. It is the 1985

When I looked it said the page was no longer a part of their sight. Honestly from just reading what it is I'd say like you did, Don't go backwards, if you do not that far anyway. We've had one meber i know recently who did and I guess he loved it so its all up to you.

Ahh I found it. Looks pretty good for an older car. Just an FYI you said they can't gaurentee the mileage as exact, is that because its not or just because of the age? from my experiances with my 86 Iroc I can tell you resale is hard because fo that. I got the car with 56,000 and sold it with 62,000 but it was hard to sell it because nobody liked the fact the miles werent marked as original.

I wouldn't call it a step backwards. The 4th gen SS Monte's are classics. Providing it's a real SS. And not an LS that someone cloned into an SS.
I tried running the VIN on CompNine, but it came up with "not found". Kinda disappointed in CompNine since they put their VIN decoder back up. Used to be 1000% better than it is now.

I just ran the VIN on www.decodethis.com
It says the car is a base model. Not sure if this link will work. If not, go to decodethis.com and look under "what is a VIN number".
