What did you make the scoops out of?

 

Really cool stuff. I've been looking for one in Superior Blue!

 

I am always on the look out for models that have something similar that I can use...... I am still looking for the SS grill piece and now the roof rails... Might have to get more creative...... It's fun though...

 

Just a modelers spray can away... Mine is already a combination 2001 surf board Monte (White) and a 2003 High Sport version (Yellow) for the wheels, spoiler and grey engine cover...

 

Oh man these are too freakin cool! Finding a yellow one is a nightmare though lol.

I think you may have to find another color model and paint it. Not too many non-Jeff Gordon edition 1/18th models out there. Besides, you'd have to custom paint the silver on the bottom anyway. Or you could get a Jeff Gordon one and take the decals off.

Check this one out. It's black. But it's got the same wheels you have on your Monte. You'd have to paint the car superior blue to match though.
