Perspectives ... child vs. adult
When I was a kid, the Christmas Eve service lasted at LEAST 3 hours.
Today, that same service takes about a half hour.
When I was a kid, the trip from Elgin IL to Batavia IL to visit my grandparents took at LEAST 2 hours.
Today, that same drive takes about 45 minutes.
When I was a kid, Mom and Dad's 1976 Monte Carlo was absolutely HUGE ... like a cruise ship.
Today, my '76 Monte Carlo is a heck of a lot smaller than that, though some might still call it a boat....
When I was a kid, the stairs leading up to the front door of a relative's home in western PA had at least 25 steps.
Today, that same staircase has only 5 steps.
What perspectives do you have from your experiences?

When I was a kid I couldn't wait to have hours of sex with what now is my wife.
As a adult, lets just get it over with quick so I can go back and finish watching my movie!!!
