Mysterious Humming Noise Disrupts Windsor Residents, Canadian Goverment Blames Michigan & the USA
May 1, 2012 5:38 PM EDT
A mysterious humming sound and rattling noise has been baffled authorities of southwest Windsor, Canada.
Last February, there were only a few complaints regarding the so-called "Windsor Hum." Now, over a year later, the noises from the west side of the city have not subsided and the complaints keep rolling in to Canadian authorities. The sound has rattled windows, knocking objects off shelves and, in response, a senior aide to Canada's foreign minister investigated the issue.
Investigation reveal that the cause of the loud hum/rattling windows etc, is being caused by a group/club of Chevy Monte Carlo Owner's with loud exhaust that have been cruising everywhere in the area....We are told the leader is an Administrator of a Gang called MCF and that he has world wide Internet connections....We think he is associating with an alien from another planet....We've tried to catch this Monte Carlo Gang, but their vehicles have been just to difficult to catch....We are in constant pursuit to catch them....

Stay tuned to updates of the MCF Gang capture.....
That hum has been going on for years now. It's focused mainly in west Windsor and a small town called LaSalle, Ontario. I live more downtown Windsor area, so I don't hear it. But area residents who do hear it compare it to the sound of a laker (lake freighter ship) slowly motoring by. But it never goes away. And it's there even when no ships are anywhere around.
I'm not usually one for conspiracies. But it does seem like the noise is coming from the industrial area known as Zug Island. There's resistance on the part of the various levels of U.S. government to look into something some people call a minor annoyance. Although to area residents, it's not minor.
I can see the state of Michigan's point of view though. Zug Island has been an industrial area for many decades. The hum is relatively recent. The other thing Michigan has to keep in mind is that companies willing to provide jobs locally is rare these days. Who in their right mind wants to tell them to shut down and go away -- you're annoying people?
There's also been discussion that the hum could be from mining taking place under the same area by the Windsor Salt Mine. But supposedly, the mine agreed to shut down for a period of time to see if the noise went away. It didn't. Eliminating them.
I joked with friends that maybe it's old-tyme rum runners digging a tunnel under Windsor/Detroit.
