I'm big into fishing. We live on the Ottawa river here, and basically from season open to close, im out there every Sunday morning looking for bass, pike, and river cat.

I used to enjoy hunting but these days in Ontario with the registry, the firearms acquisition license, the tags, the hunter safety course, it was just too much of a damn headache. So I sold my guns and got a fishing pole instead.

I'm allergic to fish, so I catch and release 90% of the time. I use my scale and camera, and just toss em back in. Sometimes they get damaged in the fight and its better to put em out of their misery. In that case, my fishing buddy usually takes it home.

Here's one of my better catches this year.. Lovely colors in this smallie. Not huge but a nice 2 pounder with tons of fight.

Rock Drumming. I used to practice on pillows wearing headphones but my family got me a Yamaha Digital Drum Pad Kit for Christmas. My wrenching hobby is restoring old Yamaha Motorcycles. I have 2 - 1983 Yamaha XJ-Series Bikes. Inline-4 DOHC 5-Speed Shaft Drives. One 750 Maxim and a 900cc (Rare) Seca-900.

Now that I have the Monte ... one of the Bikes has got too go. I love the Low-Riding Cruiser 750 ... so, I'll putting the 900 on the block. If you can wrench motorcycles and are looking for a nice bike I have a 900 and enough spare parts to keep it running forever. Plus a fine 900 spare engine I'm building from Ground-Up.

I write the Technical Articles for Yamaha Service and Repair for XJBikes.com.news ... a Yamaha XJ Bike Forum with nearly 3,000 Members. Moderator for that site; too.

I want to get the Technical Manuals for this 3400 SFI Engine and study them. I want to be as good as some of you are already on doing repair and maintenance on this Chevy Plant.

All in time. Right now, it's more fun checking-in to thisi site and reading the archives. A lot of what I need to know has already been covered.

Ah she reminds me of when I was in Security in the Air Force. Just the site of an AR with a 203 lands me back at Kirtland patroling the Monzano Mountain range. I learned to launch one of those at Camp Bullis just outside of Lackland AFB.

Thanks for the memory!
