Did you guys lurk for a while before joining? I did for like a day, then I joined I believe before I even bought my car. lol

 

I joined up the second I found the site. Saw how much content was on it and joined.

The whole time wishing I joined YEARS ago.

 

I owned my car for 2 years before joining...I had come across the site a few times when doing searches online, but never gave it much attention...then one day looked at it, and thought, what the heck why not! Now I just wish I would have joined 2 years ago!

 

Fact is, just the opposite! 16 yr olds are not as informed as some of us MUCH older. Just a fact of life. They haven't been driving for 4 decades like I have, and some of the other members. I maintain 4 vehicles, and between them they get driven between 60-70,000 miles a year. Many of our other members have similar experience. That's just something the younger people can't replicate over night.

We WELCOME the younger members. We are family friendly, unlike OTHER forums, and we are proud of that.

If a younger member, or an older member for that matter, asks questions that have been asked over and over and over, we STILL answer them to the best of our abilities.

After all, I THINK I was 16 once, maybe. Too long ago to remember.

 

That is true... See what happens if you join a Honda or Mitsubishi club and ask what is the best muffler and intake for your car... Just watch how fast you get burned and banned.

 

Wrong because that will start an internet battle of who has the biggest coffee can, and pictures will arise. Everyone wants to show off their 50HP mods.

Now if you went on said forums and asked them how to repair a few dents from the previous owner, and the proper way to fill in the holes that a previous spoiler had on it, you will get boo'd and hissed until you left because you shouldn't worry about those things.

this is great, i joined when i bought my monte a few months ago! i had answers to my question before i even introduced myself! i love this site, if i'm not on here daily i feel left out! thanks everyone for putting up with me???

 

I joined the same day I found this site.

I had bad luck with my previous car. And wanted to get info on the Monte's reliability and known issues before buying.

 

I joined the moment I found this site. I do like to lurk at times.
