Im looking for a winter car so I can park the Monte this year, and hopefully for every year thereafter. The janitor at my office says he has a '92 Olds Toronado (not the Trofeo) and tha it's been sitting for a few years. Now, this guy has a pro street drag car, so he knows his stuff about cars, and I don't think he would be leading me on. He told me it has new brakes at all 4 corners, good tires with about 5k miles on them, a solid body, mediocre paint with a few chips and clear coat peeling, blue leather interior, and a supercharged, yes you heard right, s/c 3.8. Now, thats just not right that my possible future winter car is supercharged and my Monte is not. LOL Mind you, it would be a winter car, so I don't really care what it looks like, as long as it runs well and is structurally sound. I read a few articles about it and they all seem to be mostly positive reviews etc. Has anyone had an experience with one of these cars? I am going to be taking a look at it next week sometime and taking it to my mechanic as well. He is asking $1k for it.

Haha! Alright guys! Geeze. Just messin. He said he bought it from the local trucking company he worked for back in the late 90s. It was one of the lawyers cars, said it has about 67k miles on it right now. He bought it and drove it til about 2008 when he and his wife bought a Jeep Liberty for a more practical vehicle. He says he starts it up once a month to let it run to stay lubed up etc.
