I think it used to have a heavy system in it and they put stiff springs on it to raise the rear from sagging. The same concept that BlazedSS did in his. If you look at the pics from the dealer you can see RCA wires in the trunk. So when the system came out the rear lifted way up since the weight was removed.

That makes sense about the system since that back tire is smaller & everything too. & I msot def believe it's a replica now...it's missing 3 main things pacers came with...the pace car emblem on the trunk (which isn't it suppose to be on the side where they have the monte carlo ss badging?) & it doesn't have the windshield monte carlo banner & there are no Taz decals on it...I feel stupid for not noticing any of this before but then again I was distracted by a movie & my homework

A lot of them are missing the windshield banner and the "Official Pace Car" lettering on the ground effects, but no Taz's under the emblems and missing rear Pace Car emblem are definite giveaways!

AND the Pace car badge on the dash.

I have no idea why people post pics of hideous looking Montes. They are atrocious to look at and should never be seen here.
Just one of those things. You know. So ugly you just have to look.

X2 on what jaws said it I have my system out my car sits 2 1/2 inches higher than stock and if the guy lowered th front springs by 1 1/2 that would give it that look I he did put the air struts ($1895 a set ) on it you would see a holding tank or some kind of air valves to raise and lower the car in the trunk area so I am guessing he did the springs that I have
Now that aside does anyone who make those rims on that car I wonder what size they are I have seen allot of rims on our cars that are OK but I really like them allot and would think about taking off my 17" factory rims for those
