I was going based on the graphics alone. Why would anyone want to clone an N/A having a supercharged one is beyond me. Those tail lights would look amazing on a white Monte.

think of this way they are trying to load the front end for better 1/4 mile times or more clearance for SNOW lol

ICK and i thought mine had a hell of a rake!!!

Yes Those tail lights would look amazing on a white Monte to bad there on that one...

I don't think it had anything to do with cloning an N/A SS, someone probably just liked the looks of the Pace Car graphics. But then they went horribly wrong lifting the rear.:p

I have no idea why people post pics of hideous looking Montes. They are atrocious to look at and should never be seen here.

Typically rwd cars are lifted in the rear to get better tires and a good stance ...perhaps the owner was imagining it would give that look.

That was cool in 1971. It's supposed to look like it has shacklebars under it.... a lot of people back in the day used to raise cars up like that. My dad put some sets under his buddies cars in '69-72 while he was in high school for them.
