Just a few minutes ago, as I was browsing the MCF, I came across a very ironic advertisement at the bottom of a page. I almost couldn't believe it, but here is what I saw:
A Ford ad on the Monte Carlo Forum?? How could this happen?? Is the world coming to an end?? Where do we go from here?? Is Ford trying to lure us away from our trusty Chevrolet's? Your thoughts...
(In all honesty, I don't mind Ford. We actually have 2: my dad's '99 F-150 and my mom's '11 Focus. Both are good vehicles. I'm much more hateful toward imports, like T****a, N****n, and H***a)

Oh if I ever see a T****a ad on here I'll...I'll...I'll probably write a very strongly worded e-mail to them explaining my feelings for them. That'll sure show 'em!

The reason you see these adds are due to members talking about that brand. Its like this, If you were to talk about Fords, the forum software pics that up and will post and add about Fords. Same a few other things.
Its one way this forum makes its money. No on has control over this except the owners and they are not about to do anything that will cause them money.

Yeah yeah I know. It's all about the money. But, to tell you the truth, I would feel sick to my stomach if I knew that I had profited in any way through the means of the car* maker, T****a.
*car, in this context, is defined as any three-dimensional, plastic object with ~4 tires that originate from Japan that are so badly made that the company's CEO feels that he must lie to the public and government officials about the quality and safety of his products and over a million have had to be recalled so far.
But yeah, I just thought it was funny that I happened to see a Ford ad at that particular time.
