cool, steelers fan, newbie a guy at work has an elimination/suicide pool like that makes things very interesting when you have "no doubt" that the team you pick willl win and then you're out :p bummer, but that's how it goes feel free to post anything you want and keep the thread rolling, next up will be hockey

I'm not so much into hockey myself (I follow it casually), but there are some HARDCORE Penguins fans around here. I think there are actually more of them than Steelers fans. It seems like football fans in this area are something like 50% Steeler fans and 50% other teams. The ONLY hockey fans I know/see around here are Penguins fans. OK, I lied, one guy at work likes the Flyers, but he likes all Philadelphia sports. I'm not sure why, he's born and raised in this area. I used to go to some Johnstown Chiefs games, minor league hockey, it definitely awesome to watch in person.

I'm curious about the Chiefs too.

Nice, do you follow Highland High School football? Wife's cousin plays on the team. They're not doing so well, though.

Not at all. I do live a few blocks from the school though and can hear the announcer and see the stadium lights above the trees. lol
