No Names ?? Whats up with that ? :(
I noticed on here not many go with their 1st names. its kja 1356 or 456fgt. Why not list your sur name so we at least can say Hey Joe. Or Hi Terry; Not very Personal that way. No one list their age or birthday. Don't any of you feel safe enough to list those??? Just asking. Be nice to know who were talking too. Wouldn't it ? . Rick

It's not always a personal trust thing. Many times it's just taking the opportunity to have a little fun. Like, "Taz" or "The Popcorn King" for example. Other times it's a description of what they're driving. "02MCSS" would obviously be a 2002 Monte Carlo SS.
Granted, some people do like the privacy. That's their perogative, and it doesn't really bother me. They usually reveal their real names to people they become friends with.
Edit: If anyone really cares or doesn't already know, my name is Lou.

I think I understand where part of Rick's comments are coming from.
On any forum you go to. When you first start going to the site, you always see members referring to each other with their real names. But their user name is something completely different.
For example:
On another forum I used to frequent, one of the moderators was great at making sigs. When new members joined and asked if anyone is good at making awesome sigs, everyone referred them to Joe. Problem was, Joe's user name was "exponent". Unless you already knew that, or someone told you, you had no idea who Joe was.
I'm not saying everyone should change their screen name or they must put their name in their sig.
What I am saying to everyone out there (especially new members), if you read a post with a person's real name in it and are wondering who it is, don't hesitate to ask. Most people here will be glad to help.
