It was announced a few weeks back, the same day my boss's wife bought a G6 lol...

I think if Pontiac actually produced unique cars for each segment they wouldnt have found themselves here, but then again, i'm no industry analyst.

Yes, they are going to EVENTUALLY phase out Pontiac according to all the letters i've been getting from GM.

I am a little sad, I personally like man of the Pontiac models......

I'm kinda pissed they cut Pontiac. I thought for sure Buick would go first, they were down to 3 models, and they looked terrible. Pontiac is their more sporty line and I love it. My first brand new car was going to be a g8 gxp in a few years, but that's out now

The only thing about that that upsets me is the death of the G8.

I wish they would start selling Holdens over here. Then we could get the commodore instead, which is what the G8 is based on

The only one I liked was the G8 also. The G6 was okay, but that's it. Just okay. Nothing spectacular. Besides, the G6 was due for redesign in a year or so anyway. Don't care for the Vibe, and the other Pontiacs (G3, G4, G5 or whatever they're called) are just pizza delivery cars in my opinion. Not competitive enough to keep in GM's lineup.

The Buick line is really being kept alive by the senior citizen market.

Don't forget the Solstice, that was a good car.

Oh yeah. Forgot the Solstice.

Too bad that both the Solstice and the Saturn Sky are going. Unless Penske revives it.
