Default Nicest State Trooper Ever

Alright, coming home from a friend's house this morning my foot felt a little heavy... I went over a hill, and low and behold... an Iowa State Trooper was waiting for me.

Pulled over immediately, rolled the window down, turned the car off.

Explained I knew I was speeding around 63-65 in a 55... he clocked me at 73. I was like Awe $%*T

He also asked me about why I do not have my front plate. Told him I honestly thought it was ok.

So I gave him my papers.. At the time I only had my license with me... MOM for some reason, has my insurance and registration. Told him just got the car back from the shop with insurance issues so mom had them.

Note: I did kill him with respect, understanding, and YES SIR stuff.

The verdict:
Written warning on No Insurance, No registration, No Blinker when turning, AND He wrote my SPEEDING off as a warning! 73 in a 55!

But I do have a non-moving citation for failure to affix Front License plate.. still $73.50, but he could have ROYALLY Messed me up....

Well I thought I would share that tid-bit of my life with you. Now I'm off to Lazerfest 2010 Baby! WOOOO!

Hi `Tyler,
Sorry 2 read about the cost of your ticket, and yes
it could've been a lot worse 4-Sure.

Thanks for posting a positive experience with a law enforcement officer. I think the majority are dedicated
to their profession, and I've seen them help more people,
then hurt..
That officer saved you big $'s 4-Real.

I checked online about LazerFest & it seems like it will be a
wicket/wild experience.....EnJoy & let us know all
about it (4 us member's that are on house arrest or
can't find a life away from the MCF : ).

Be Safe out there...& have a SuperSuper Time

Good to hear, lucky you.
On saturday i got pulled over, got a repair order to take my tint off that i've had on for about a month, and a 60.00 citation for illegal tint.
What an *** cop.
