I just put in a bid of $1525.00 and I am the highest bidder but the reserve hasn't been met yet? I better not do anything stupid tonight because I don't want to wake up tomorrow having to buy another car.....

I did bid $10,000 on a harley and i was the highest bidder and my girlfriend thought I was goofy but she didn't understand the reserve price thing.....

Nice looking Monte.

If I owned it, it would have one of those rear spoiler thingies on the trunk lid.

Presently the bid is only $1500, & it's not getting a lot
of action..., so maybe they will consider any reasonable offer.

It's looks good in the pic, and I'm sure the chrome piece
could be removed with little or no prob. Plus it's a "Z"

Lose the stick on ports on the doors, get some nicer rims, and you got a hot 5th gen.

Hey, grantted, I would like some bullitts or torq thrusts more.. .but I like the stock z34 wheels just fine thank you.

I dinr know alot about that gen but what makes it a Z34? You would think it at least would have ground effects or a spoiler.

It is just the top of the line package for those years. They had the bigger engine (95-97 had the dohc 3.4, 98-99 had the 3800), top trim level, and (don't quote me on this) sportier suspension than the lower trimmed models.

Very nice car. I have always loved this body style. The vent in the middle of the door is very odd, though. I wonder what was going through the installers head?

What makes it a Z34? Stiffer suspension, larger sway bars front and rear, more powerful engines (215hp for the DOHC and 200 for the 3800 compared to 160 for the LS) and beefier transmission for the 97-99 Z34s (4t65e compared to the 4t60e in the LS).

They're excellent cars and I do like this one in particular. Black on black leather was always what I dreamed of (alas I bought a red one though). The vent thing is funny, but can easily be removed. Not too high of miles either. Makes me wish I had some spare cash because these are very reliable cars. The worst thing that's happened to my Monte is the water pump has gone out. Pretty rock solid and it's still taking the power okay (for now ).

Thats a nice car if you can scoop it up for the right price. Like Space said maybe they will consider other offers if the auction closes with no interest.
