He's only been here a few hours, but he's a GREAT dog! The girls are a little intimidated by him I think, but there's been no fights. So far so good.

Congratulations on the new member of the family, Wayne.
I've got two labs living next door to me. Alex acts all mean and stuff. Darrin will go after him when Alex "Acts" like he's going to bite. Darrin always puts Alex in his place when I'm around. Daiin is one big dog. Alex isn't small but he's not as big as Darrin.
It's funny Darrin sees me and starts whinning (very loud) cause he wants me to come over and say hi.

LOL!!!
We had a pretty smooth night. Haven't gotten him to eat yet, but so far, he is a GREAT dog! He is stuck to the side of one of us, but that's OK. LadyT just said he's know her his whole life. He's definetly a "cling tite" to her....an 85 POUND cling tite! so far tho, 85 pounds of LOVE!
He's a very welcome addition to this family of all mutts and adoptees (including the both of us).

One of the things I forgot to mention, he has seizures! He had one today. Has them daily. I heard him and next thing I know, he rolled off the couch, knocked over a table and lamp.

awww! he's sooo cute =D i've been looking up different breeds of dogs, trying to figure out which kind i wanna adopt when i move out again. congrats on the new addition =D
A lab and retriever are probably the best kind of dog.... you see them in movies with some frequency because they're some of the friendliest dogs around people they don't know and train very well. My girlfriend ahs a chocolate and black lab... they do nothing but lean on you!!! And they love nothing more than to be rubbed! I'm glad you've got a good one!!
