Ok guys I got a new vehicle. One day we got rained out from work and I ended up randomly stopping at the dealership just to waste time until my evening class started... After talking to the salesman I had my mind set on a new vehicle. I swear that they can sell ice to an eskimo. I left and went back the next day (another rainout) and talked to another guy who didnt try to beat around the bush with any information. Long story short, I ended up only having to put down $500 to get the truck. The truck is a 2011 Chevy Silverado 4.8l Ls with 21k miles and I absolutely love it! No more trying to make my Monte sound like a v8 lol. About the Monte , Its sitting at the dealership as we speak, because I can only drive 1 vehicle at a time and the dealership is closed today . So tomorrow I will go get my Monte and most likely park it until I sell it.

Thanks! Im so use to driving my Monte, it doesnt even feel right lol. Turned a corner while still hitting the gas and realized that its not fwd lol.

Hopefully they started making the interiors better on these. My 2005 is falling apart on the inside. My headliner is falling out, my floor (is all rubber) is coming lose, the belt tensioner chatters when it's cold.

Congrats on the truck. The squadron I'm assigned to for this two weeks has what I believe is an 07 or so Hybrid (from 05-08 they were only sold as fleet vehicles). I'd love to pick one up, especially considering it still has a 6.0L under the hood. At some point I'll be getting another truck as a DD so I can dedicate the Burb to being a radio platform/tow rig.
