new monte carlo forum banner
I signed on last night and was like "WOAH!" It had been the same old banner for the 2.5 years I've been here.... it was a great banner and had a nice, long run, but I think the new banner is more reflective of our Monte Carlo community as a whole. It shows the diversity of our cars a little bit better! 
Mannequin I put in the passenger seat so I could drive in the carpool lane. 
Seriously, I wish that 4th gen was mine. That's a badass lookin SS! 
I woke up this morning, and to my pleasant surprise the techs came through with a new logo/header. I love it.
Not take anything away from JJ and the work he did on the logo he made. JJ did an excellent job of taking our old logo and updating it. Which is what we were originally thinking of doing.
The techs told me they would take JJ's idea and run with it. I wasn't sure what to expect. But this 100% new (to us) banner is so much cooler than I thought we'd get. Congrats on who ever made that one up!
From what I can see, the 1st, 4th, and 6th gens are pictured. The SS looks to be 7th gen. And the words "MONTE CARLO" are very close to the 5th gen font.
I don't know who's cars those are in the logo. But if that's my Dale Jr edition in that pic, I want royalties.:p

Ya I'm really digging the new banner too!
Amy, I thought of just putting it on anyway. I'd probably get away with it too. Considering that Windsor borders Detroit, MI which doesn't use front plates. A lot of cops assume no front plate is a visiting Michigan car.
But with only two small screws holding the filler plate on, I'm likely to return to my car and find the filler plate missing.
